These are authentic Jacobean chairs dated 1600's. They are very old but are rock solid. They are pegged with bulbous turnings. What looks like square nails are actually wood. They are beautiful to look at and the finish has just the right amount of wear. The fabric is more worn then stained. This is a handsome pair of antique chairs. Perfect for a New England home.
