This is one of my black and white paper and paint collage paintings in an old weathered vintage gold frame. The collage is done on a hardboard panel and varnished for protection (no need for glass). The frame is very distressed, some of the gold leaf has worn off and is missing. This adds so much interest and texture and is a nice contrast with the simplicity of the collage.
The overall size of the piece is 11"x13" with the inner art at 8"x10", perfect for a book shelf.
