A framed collection of vintage matchbooks from the Southern US plus Bermuda and Chris-Craft displayed in a red shadow box frame. The background is a bold red, which complements the assorted colors of the matchbooks. There are nine matchbooks arranged in a 3x3 grid. Each matchbook showcases unique logos from iconic hotels, clubs, resorts and restaurants of the 1950s and 1960s. Frame is 8"x8". A second collection of Northeast match book covers is available, too.
Here are the details of each matchbook:
Top Row (Left to Right):
Philadelphia Cricket Club A navy blue matchbook with a white shield logo featuring red and black accents. The club name "Philadelphia Cricket Club" is written in gold.
The Carolina Inn A light blue matchbook with white text reading "The Carolina Inn" and "Chapel Hill, N.C."
The Drexelbrook Club A green matchbook with white graphics and text reading "The Drexelbrook Club, Drexel Hill, PA."
Middle Row (Left to Right):
Sabre & Saddle Lounge A white matchbook with a green illustration of a horse and rider. It says "Sabre & Saddle Lounge" in bold green text.
The Cloister A green matchbook featuring a simple white graphic of a four-leaf clover and the text "The Cloister."
The Pirate’s House A light beige matchbook with elegant script reading "The Pirate's House" and location "Savannah, Georgia."
Bottom Row (Left to Right):
