As we watched the bison meander into the roadways blocking all traffic, it struck me the power that the huge bull males had compared to the sweet young baby bison who grouped together in all of their red coats. I used collage and many layers of acrylic paint to create this 20" x 16". The painting is horizontal and the sides are painted a rich matte brown and comes ready to hang just as it is. I used grease pencil, colored pencil, graphite along with the collage and paint. I am the artist, LWren Walraven out of Sandia Park, NM. less
