Studio pottery bronze glaze fruit bowl by Mobach's Dutch ceramist Jaan Mobach 1980's. The bowl is part turned and hand formed with ragged edge. The free form shape created is very experimental. The bronze glaze is like the patina on metal. There is a group of matching vases. Mobach studio is small family business working with high skilled ceramists for more than 100 years. The shapes were often inspired by Japanese Ikebana arrangements. The Moderns have a large collection of their vases and bowls made in the 1950-80's listed. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
