The chair was brought onto the market in the 1930s and was considered a fall-proof alternative to traditional rocking chairs. The innovative piece of furniture allowed sliding rocking movements forward, back and to the side without the child being able to fall out of the seat. Our "Rock-O-Glider" is almost an antique museum piece. It is made of painted solid wood and metal. Cleaned original condition with plenty of charming patina. Manufacturer's name available. The Phillips screws are original. They were invented in 1932 by the American inventor J.P. Thompson developed and patented. Length 50cm. This piece has an attribution mark,
