Description: Vintage Laminated Wood + Applied Illustration on Paper Candleholder Trio by Janet Gasson, a Set, Circa 1980s. Constructed from two-tone … more Vintage Laminated Wood + Applied Illustration on Paper Candleholder Trio by Janet Gasson, a Set, Circa 1980s. Constructed from two-tone laminated wood with top-applied original pen & ink paper illustrations on front and back. The tallest form features a reclining nude at the center of an ionic column form with a cat visible only on the reverse. The two smaller candleholders feature winged cherubs atop clouds at the center of trumpeted column forms, one with a bow + arrow and the other with a horn. Silver paint was also applied to add texture and depth. Signed on the underside base of each “Janet Gasson.”
