Vincent Van Gogh (1835 - 1890) did several paintings of the Langlois Bridge during the two years he lived in Aries, France. Many people consider this painting his finest, most perspective rendition of the subject. "Landscape With Vegetable Gardens" is regarded as one of Van Gogh's finest landscapes. it is a harmony of warm colors, reflecting the serenity of Aries, a rural French district where Van Gogh lived and worked for two years.
