Each … Read more A fine pair of late 19th century antique Italian bombe shaped Rococo ormolu & marble topped commodes, circa 1890.
Each commode having a serpentine shaped Verde Antico (varigated green marble) top, each commode is of bombe shape and has two short drawers over two long drawers. The drawers are fitted with gilded bronze Rococo handles and ornate gilt bronze mounts to top of the legs and gilt bronze sabot mounts to the feet. The chests atre raised on cabriole feet, with shaped aprons to the front and sides.
Condition of both commodes is excellent, no damage or restoration, they are clean and ready to store your clothing or bedding, a finepair of antique commodes. See less
