The design of this bar stool is based on the design of Thonet chair no. 16 by Michael Thonet (1796 – 1871, founder of Thonet) from the mid-19th century. Beech bentwood frame with a hand-woven rattan seat. Produced by the Polish company ZPM Radomsko, a former post-W.W. II nationalized/expropriated Thonet factory. The stools, wood and rattan, are in good condition, with normal signs of wear considering their age.
