This … more Library ladder in walnut from the 1700s with three steps and spool-turned uprights, with a stable and solid structure. This ancient 18th century library ladder is made entirely of solid walnut wood, the three steps are decorated with shaped aprons, ornamental bands underneath the shelves, valances placed both on the front and laterally between the spool supports. The ladder comes from a private collection in Lombardy, is in good condition and shows recent restorations, compatible with the eighteenth century era, the steps have in fact been consolidated with added supports to support the weight.
