The relief sculptures feature human figures, crocodiles, and breasts, skillfully framed along the edges and middle. The Dogon people hold the primordial ancestors, known as Nommo, in high regard. These ancestors were the pioneers of farming and blacksmithing and are celebrated through the dynamic figures depicted on the door, symbolizing the celebration of life and the importance of honoring our ancestors.
