The Renaissance period, Classicism and Cubism are primary references for my work. I always begin in the representational and let the work evolve into the abstract or remain representational. Although divergent in process, my work at its core remains connected to the inspirations from which they were conceived. The subject matter whether portraiture, figurative, still life or landscape are important. And yet, the true subject and passion always lies in balance, symmetry, structure, shapes and spacial relationships.
[The artist actively exhibits her paintings including Bergdorf Goodman, New York. Her work is collected internationally and she keeps studios in Canada, France, Japan and India].
