Description: A handmade brush pot in the shape of an old, twisted tree trunk that shows the artistry of an earlier … more A handmade brush pot in the shape of an old, twisted tree trunk that shows the artistry of an earlier age.

A wooden cylinder has been cut with intricate surfaces depicting a natural tree trunk. The wood used is a softer wood and not a hard wood. There are circular concentric cuts in the interior well. It must have been fashioned on a lathe. The exterior has deep and all-over cut designs to look like weathered bark and wood. The base is flat and shows saw marks. The brush pot has been given a shiny coating.

There are no marks or labels.
