The chest having the original veined white marble top above four drawers, each drawer having twin turned pulls, the drawers open and close with ease and each drawer is decorated with a rectangular faux bamboo frieze.
The chest is raised on faux bamboo columns, terminating to turned feet, the sides of the chest also decorated with faux bamboo decoration.
Despite the very convincing carving to replicate bamboo the chest is in fact made from solid pine, the commode has a warm mellow honey colored patina. The chest is in excellent condition, it is clean and ready to store your clothing or bedding. A great quality antique French faux bamboo commode, ready to grace your space. See less
