Excellently crafted chest of drawers entirely veneered in bois de rose.
The structure with a strongly rounded and wavy body has two drawers.
The forty-five degree arrangement of the wood grain generates a pleasant decorative pattern which is defined by fillets made of the same essence.
The differently shaped legs are worn with gilded bronze shoes.
Contemporary handles, escutcheons and lock.
Original French red marble top, intact and chisel cut on the back.
Of French origin, it can be dated to the Napoleon III period (second half of the 19th century).
The dimensions are: 121 x 57, height 85 cm.
