Pair of Roman Gilded Frames from 1700, rare pair of antique Empire frames in carved and gilded wood, 18th century Rome. Rectangular in shape, with three orders of carving, this pendant of ancient Roman frames is intended for graphic works, ancient prints or drawings, considering the small internal width of 1 cm.
They measure 35.2 x 42.2 cm and the internal light is 25.2 x 33 cm. They come from a private collection in Lombardy, they are in a good state of conservation with minimal restorations compatible with the eighteenth century period and a drop in the preparation in proximity to the gorge, as documented in the photo gallery.
