Swedish floor lamp model "1838," designed by josef frank for svenskt tenn in 1938. The lamp features a heavy base with a brass stem, supporting an adjustable arm that holds the shade. This example was likely manufactured in the 1950s and still retains its original shade. Condition: the lamp is in good original condition, with small dents and scratches on the base and some stains and marks on the brass. It comes with a new white shade as well as the original shade shown in the pictures. Wiring: all our lamps are wired for eu standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for us standards. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
