This chair represents the pinnacle of design and craftsmanship. FEATURES As a signature KnollStudio design, it is produced to Mies' precise specifications. The designer granted Knoll exclusive manufacturing and sales rights in 1953. Each chair features the KnollStudio logo and Mies van der Rohe's signature stamped into its base. CONSTRUCTION Its polished chrome structure is hand-buffed and hand-finished to achieve a mirror finish. The cushions consist of 40 individual panels, each cut, hand-welted, and hand-tufted from a single hide. The seat and back cushions are designed to fit the frame's curve, while the sides and edges of upholstery straps match the specified color. less
