Offered for sale is a large handcrafted bulbous art pottery vessel evocative of Niloak Pottery or perhaps Silver Springs Pottery's designs. This is an oversized vintage abstract studio vessel that would have been designed and built with great skill to achieve the layers of clays that were required. It features a distinctive and unique swirl design in tonal colors and is finished in a matte glaze. Bulbous in shape it reduces upon itself to a small opening at its top. The vessel is signed BC on its bottom from the 1990s.
There are no chips and the work is In great vintage condition with minor typical wear for its age and use. This is a true collector’s piece.
