I don't know how old it actually is, only how long it has been in my possession. I bought it 25 years ago on an estate sale in Las Vegas. It has added ambience and personality to our home since then. We are now downsizing and want to pass this unique piece of decor on to new owners. I have noticed it being featured in movies over the years, the only one I can remember by name right now is "The Favorite" (2018) with Olivia Colman playing Queen Anne. Check it out on Netflix? I have used the birdcage for decoration; it is easy to update or change the look of it by storing old book or plants or other objects in it. I have decorated it6 for Christmas every year with lights.
