Rams created the 606 at the age of 28, going on to become one of the foremost industrial designers of the 20th century.
A timeless design that is still in production.

This particular wall unit is a version with black shelves with anodized aluminum sides from the second half of the 1980's. It consists of 4 E-shaped aluminum profiles for vertical wall mounting in two lengths. The 3 wider shelves and 8 smaller width shelves and also the cabinet containig LP/single holders or bookends with up and over door, are simply hooked in and held in place with aluminum pins. This creates a wide range of possible combinations.

The shelving system is in a very good condition with smaller signs of age and use, mainly to one side of the shelf inside the cabinet. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
