The style is the result of the fusion of oriental design with Italian quality.
Made in the 1960s by Kazuhide Takahama.
He was a great Japanese designer who was a genius of Italian design thanks to his fortunate acquaintance, during the setting up of the Japan pavilion at the Milan Triennale, with Dino Gravina with whom he collaborated throughout his life.
Cassina was founded in Meda in 1927 by Cesare and Umberto Cassina and is still one of the greatest design producers, having created, in collaboration with the greatest designers, many of the most famous pieces in the history of Italian design.
The bookcase is in an excellent state of conservation, it has some slight and obvious signs of ageing, as shown in the photos, but has no significant defects.
