Description: A rare refined chest/bench designed by otto schulz for boet, gothenburg, in 1944. The piece is covered in antique patinated … more A rare refined chest/bench designed by otto schulz for boet, gothenburg, in 1944. The piece is covered in antique patinated faux leather, adorned with "bopoint" decorative pearl nailing arranged in a geometric composition featuring the monograms "rer" and "rar" along with the date 1944. Its interior is crafted from birch wood and includes a practical sliding drawer, while its birch legs provide sturdy support. The underside is stamped "boet," confirming its provenance. Commissioned in 1944 and was part of a larger suite of furniture ordered from boet for the original owner's family home in lysekil during the 1940s. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
