- Sometimes I wish I had the before photos of one of these. This was a very much loved chair of … more Sometimes I wish I had the before photos of one of these. This was a very much loved chair of a Washington DC physician and his decorator spouse and they brought this chair back from their Paris apartment when they decided to downsize to South Carolina. We were able to purchase so very many fantastic things from that estate. This chair sat in our warehouse for a year before I found the right rug and some vintage mohair fabric and let our super talented upholsters loose on it. The results I think are chic while being classic. And comfort. Oh boy. I sure know why it was a favorite with its past owner. less
