This listing is for two pieces of 1940s Art Glass in their hand painted Charleton Apples and Pears pattern. One is a cologne bottle with a ruffled opening. Stands about 6 3/4" tall without a stopper. The other is an exceedingly RARE rose bowl vase that stands about 3 1/4" tall and has an opening of 4 3/4" in diameter.
I don't know if the cologne bottle was manufactured with a stopper, but I found one that compliments it perfectly and am including it in this listing. It is a new Towle full lead crystal flame-shaped stopper made in Austria. It is slightly smaller than the opening of the bottle, but I think they make a good marriage (see photo).
Exceptional condition - no chips, cracks, repairs or unusual wear on any of these pieces. Just a bit of wear to some areas of the gilt finish on both milk glass pieces. Absolutely lovely. less
