Usually the table you end up not seeing it because it is there, so much it is part of our daily life. But the interwined «C» of the base representing the world-famous logo of Coco Chanel does not leave indifferent. This base is the symbol of French elegance. This table acquired in the Saumurois, Loire Valley (home region of the famous fashion designer) is the result of a special order by a member of her family.

The table is oval, Art Deco. When closed, it can accommodate eight people. In order to expand the surface to accommodate more guests, this table opens from the middle thanks to an ingenious oak slide system, dropping two feet at each end to ensure perfect stability. It can then accommodate sixteen people (two people per extension). Installation is quick and easy. Once the meal is over, the table returns to its normal size in a jiffy, just by removing the table extension(s).

The entire system of slides and brackets is from the table’s time and is in very good working condition.

The base is fluted.
