Antique Chinese black lacquered and gilt rectangular low table with three drawers and a scalloped apron, circa 1890-1910. Decorated with floral and foliate gilt medallions on a gold flecked black lacquer supported on inscrolling feet. The top is a beautiful wood grain with gilt edge detail while the entire base is lacquered black with gilt edge along the drawers with original brass pulls. A lovely piece with an aged patina throughout that presents very well with lots of warmth and character. It is structurally sound and sturdy.
