They are of the … Read more An exceptionally fine pair of English brass binoculars dating from the beginning of the 20th century. They are of the highest quality having sliding sun shades and a triple focus feature. This feature allows the user to adjust the focal length of the binoculars by rotating a small dial which in turn rotates different lenses into the occular location. There is an indicator on the dial which denote, theatre, land, and sea usage. They have been professionally restored in England and retain their original brown pig skin leather covering. Their case is included. It is somewhat worn and is missing its strap. It contains the maker's name "T. French & Sons Ltd., London, 1916. See less
