An unusual wooden box consisting of a heavy wooden frame with fabric sides and bottom from a cigar factory in Europe. Although found in France, the box most likely came from Germany and was used to hold cut tobacco. Solid construction and iron brackets on all corners make the frame exceedingly sturdy while all interior surfaces are of tightly woven but unsupported fabric.
Multiples available.
