Vintage American Frohse Anatomical Chart by Max Brodel colorful wall decor hanging poster scientific chart of Endocrine Glands #9, made as a school classroom or college study by A. J. Nystrom & Co Publishers (now Nystrom Education), Chicago. Artwork depicts the Pineal, Hypophysis, Thyroid, Parathyroid, Thymus, Pancreas, Adrenal, Ovary, and Testes.
Often imitated in modern reproductions, this authentic original chart most likely dates to the 1940s-1950s. Part of a collection of eight charts offered; please see last pic and our other Home Lab listings for the others available. Hang two or four charts together for a dramatic one-of-a-kind art installation, perfect for large spaces that need interest!
Rods are wood and can be hung by attaching a cord or wire from both ends. Prints are poster paper mounted on industrial grade green vinyl cloth backing with ring pulls. The spring mechanisms are in working condition, but may be a little tight and would benefit with a light spray of a lubricant such as WD-40 if you want to continue use in a pulldown manner. Would also be spectacular removed from the rods and professionally framed!
Including Rods measures 45.5"W x 74.5"L. Some light age wear, toning, and creasing to the paper which is to be expected given the provenance of these pieces, not detracting. less
