Vintage American Frohse Anatomical Chart by Max Brodel colorful wall decor hanging poster scientific chart of Schema Circulation-Heart & Skin, made as a school classroom or college study by A. J. Nystrom & Co Publishers (now Nystrom Education), Chicago. Artwork depicts Schema of the Circulation, Posterior Coronal Section of Heart, Hairless Skin, and Section Through Hairy Skin.
Often imitated in modern reproductions, this authentic original chart most likely dates to the 1940s-1950s. Part of a collection of eight anatomy charts offered; please see last picture and our other Home Lab listings. Hang two or four charts together for a dramatic one-of-a-kind art installation, perfect for large spaces that need interest!
Rods are wood and can be displayed by attaching a cord or wire from both ends, prints are poster paper mounted on industrial grade green vinyl cloth backing with ring pulls. The spring mechanisms are in working condition, but may be a little tight and would benefit with a light spray of a lubricant such as WD-40 if you desire to continue use as a pulldown piece. Poster could also be removed from rods and professionally framed!
Including rods measures 45.5"W x 74.5"L. The bottom left corner of the piece has slipped loose from the base rod; several light creases to the paper which is to be expected given the provenance of these pieces, not detracting. less
