These are a pair of Harris Marcus dark wood shell back arm chairs. The backs are carved to resemble seashells. We have had a few shell back chairs and stools but never in a dark wood. They are different and unique. These can be left as is or lacquered. They work perfectly for Regency and Coastal decor. Harris Markus produces Italy / Chicago. They need new fabric. Wood is ready to go and the chairs are tight.
