This brass wall light is an authentic ship salvage piece, carefully restored for modern use. Originally used on ships, the light was painted for protection during its time at sea. After being recovered, the paint was soda blasted off, exposing the natural brass finish, and the outdated wiring was stripped out. It has been rewired to meet residential and commercial electrical standards, making it both a functional and decorative option for your space.
The red glass in this light is an iconic feature, symbolizing the portside (left) navigation light on a vessel. Its vibrant hue adds a distinct maritime touch, perfect for nautical-themed spaces or anyone seeking a unique and meaningful lighting element.

Wiring
This light has been re-wired with all new UL-Listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.
The wiring exits the light via the back of the wall mount. Access the socket by spinning off the threaded brass cage and removing the glass globe. less
