This late 19th century (circa 1880) painted softwood chest is a charming example of historic craftsmanship. The piece of furniture features beautiful interior details and offers plenty of storage space, making it both functional and decorative.
The chest shows signs of wear commensurate with its age, underlining its authentic character. The lock is there, but does not function because the counterpart is missing. The key is also no longer there.
