Rodolfo Dordoni Set of Two Boboli 476 Low Table For Cassina Taking inspiration from the greenery in classic Italian gardens, the Boboli low table is defined by its architecturally ordered geometries and its complex structural virtuosity, emphasized by the spiral uprights that support the structure. The current product lineup includes low tables with oval or round top in several heights, plus the most recent addition, a console table with rectangular marble top. TOP Back-lacquered extra-clear tempered glass, marble. BASE Sheet steel and extruded aluminum alloy. The Boboli table is characterized by its geometrically ordered lines, where the structural challenge facing Cassina was to ensure the stability of the slim-line twisted uprights that form the base. These uprights, both load- bearing and decorative, pay homage to the canons of the classical Italian garden, where plants were often trained vertically. The sinuous form of these aluminium legs confer a sculptural look to the design, where rigor and imagination come together to challenge the limits and the very nature of the material from which they are made. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
