A lovely original vintage limited-edition print “White Silhouette” by the renowned Japanese artist Joichi Hoshi (1913-1979). The artwork has been matted and set behind glass in a vintage frame.
The piece is titled in the lower middle, signed and dated 1972 lower right, numbered 60/100 and titled in Japanese lower left. Hoshi studied at the Tainan Normal School and the Musahino University of Art. In the 1970s Hoshi's work focused primarily on trees. less
