The Greek god Apollo is depicted as a standing archer having just shot an arrow. Apollo appears semi-clad with drapery folded over left arm, beside a rustic tree stump entwined by a serpent. A quiver is on his right shoulder. The statue rests on a bronze circular shallow plinth base. Having "E. GUTTKORN - HOPFGARTEN - ROMA - 1873" impressed to the perimeter of base.
