These chairs would have been originally lacquered and have since been stripped back to the bare woodwork, sealed with a light neutral wax.
Carved back panel showing a crane, deer and a bat.
Shaped arms and back rests.
Minor age splits to woodwork, later but historical metal restorations to arms.
