Made with hand-knotted wool in Turkey circa 1950-1950, this 5x8 vintage tribal rug is an exciting new curation from Rug & Kilim’s repertoire of mid-century rugs.
On the Design:
The field features medallions and tribal motifs in bright kaleidoscopic shades sitting comfortably in the vibrance of a geometric border—further glorifying Turkish aesthetics of the mid-20th century with an enticing sense of movement. Particularly special is the rich color contrast, where red, cream, and blue tones underscore a play of medallion geometric patterns.
