This 5x7 vintage rug is one of a rare set of exceptional works curated by Rug & Kilim—each a unique marriage of mid-century Kilims and pile rugs by a respected Turkish atelier, circa 1970-1980.
On the Design
A cream and beige tone flatweave underscores hand-knotted wool pile in bright orange and purple geometric patterns—a layering that creates both a fabulous look of framing and a natural high-and-low texture.
