- A pair of armchairs in the style of Louis XVI made in France at the beginning of the 20th century. … more A pair of armchairs in the style of Louis XVI made in France at the beginning of the 20th century. The chairs were probably workshop made rather than in a factory due to the extensive, high quality carving on their walnut frames which have been cleaned and rejuvinated rathe than refinished. They have been newly upholstered using period appropriate fabrics with a blue and eggshell damask on the front and seat and a beige velour on the back in the traditional style They are in overall excellent condition and are ready for your home. They were found near Lyon. less
