This painting of a plum on purple cloth was made in the spur of the moment on a hot summer day in 2024. The still life was eagerly set up under the bright sun. The finished painting looks juicy enough to take a bite out of!
This Painting is part of a series of five, including the Prize Lemon, Prize Lime, Prize Persimmon and Prize Raspberries. All were painted in the summer of 2024.
