The fruit that started it all, the Prize Lemon. When it's too windy to paint at the beach, you find cover and paint a still life of your drink garnish on top of your red sweater.
The Prize Lemon is part of a series including the Prize Lime, Prize Raspberries, Prize Persimmon and Prize Plum. All were painted in the summer of 2024.
Original oil painting by Sarah F Burns, oil on linen panel with hand gilt gold leaf frame. Painted with the best quality oil pigments. This piece is archival and will last for generations.
Framed beautifully by furniture craftsman Jens Sehm. Painting measures 12” x 10” x2”. Framed painting measures 13” x 11”.
