- This marvelous vintage 1960s Chinese artwork collage is created in a gorgeous display of dyed to color seeds on linen, … more This marvelous vintage 1960s Chinese artwork collage is created in a gorgeous display of dyed to color seeds on linen, in the subject of birds flying around foliage. This unique piece has a black wood frame, Chinese style wooden trim inside the frame and green matting with glass overlay. This entire beautiful scene shows great craftsmanship in executing the landscape and birds in flight with very small seeds that are dyed to create the effect of brushstrokes. There is Chinese calligraphy that identifies the artist, as well as a paper label on the back which reads: "Made In Taiwan, Republic of China." Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Frame height from top to bottom=19-1/2 inches, Width side to side=13-1/2 inches, Depth front to back=1-1/4 inches. Picture height from top to bottom=15 inches, Width side to side=9 inches. This marvelous framed seed artwork has been well cared for, gently displayed and is in excellent vintage condition, free from chips, cracks, fading, losses or other imperfections.
