This modernist low-sitting model was a part of Pastoe's Combex series. The structure of the chair is made of laminated layers of plywood. The chair is in good vintage condition with some signs of use, original upholstery. Jan van Grunsven worked at the architect studio Gerrit Rietveld during 1950s -1960s he designed a few pieces of furniture. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
