Description: This late 19th century Souvenir spoon, adorned with the traditional symbol of Venice, was very popular during the Grand Tour … more This late 19th century Souvenir spoon, adorned with the traditional symbol of Venice, was very popular during the Grand Tour era as travelers purchased such items as mementos or gifts. The design features a twisted handle topped with a figural finial of the Winged Lion of St. Mark, and a cherub embellishing the neck. It remains in nice condition with slight tarnishing. The tip of the bowl shows a small bend, as highlighted in the last photo.
