He designed furniture and lighting was considered modern, stylish, and dramatic, with many designs influenced by Asian antiques.

These 2 lamps are a prime example of his works, meant to emulate the Chinese philosopher Confucius and standing almost 4 foot from floor to the top of the original shade making these larger than life effigies works of art that just happen to produce light.

Hand cast plaster bodies made to look like bronze patina with gold leaf accents are sure to impress. Without the mobs backing Mont would probably never had been discovered let alone gain the notoriety he has today making him the one true “Gangster Artisan”. Having died in 1978 this is your chance to own a piece of his legacy.
