A serene and very pleasant scene of a nature landscape composition, painted in oil onto canvas.
We catch a glimpse of a back-facing silhouette of a figure in a long, flowing lavender coat, standing on a pathway though the woods. Beside her is a dog that she has taken out for a walk. The woods are a sanctuary of tall trees – their straight, towering trunks reaching upward.
The artist has used loose and expressive brushstrokes, suggesting a spontaneous, painterly approach. The colour palette is soft and muted, creating a gentle, dreamlike atmosphere.
