The Daphine table lamp is a timeless icon of Mid-Century Modern design, created by Tommaso Cimini in 1975 for Lumina Italia. Featuring an articulated arm with two segments, a swiveling diffuser, and a cylindrical base with two metal caps, it remains an enduring example of Italian design and craftsmanship.
The Daphine lamp was first presented at the Milan Design Fair in 1975 as the simplest table lamp ever created, and its innovative design quickly earned it a place in the collections of renowned design museums worldwide, including the Brooklyn Museum, the Judd Foundation, and the Milan Triennale.
